The Waxwing is an artist consignment shop and its main goal is to host the work of local area artists and help introduce them to the community. The Waxwing also hosts d.i.y. workshops that are hosted by local artists in order to help the community get in touch with their own creative side.

The Waxwing is owned and operated by local artist, Steph Davies. Davies is a graduate of The School of The Art Institute of Chicago where she studied Scientific Illustration.  Steph opened The Waxwing in March of 2012 in hopes of meeting more artists in the Milwaukee/Shorewood community and to help them gain recognition for their work.

The Waxwing features local art & handmade gifts at affordable prices & whenever possible, made out of refurbished or recycled materials.

The Waxwing is currently home to over 90 local artists!
