Tinned Fish Candle
We call this one "Gin Soaked Herring under a Fir Coat" and it's inspired by my favorite Russian dish, Herring under a fur coat (or Shuba), which is a traditional Russian layered salad. It typically consists of the following layers, assembled in a specific order: * Pickled herring * Boiled carrots * Boiled beets * Hard-boiled eggs * Mayonnaise Now for the candle: it’s cute and perfect.
The fish have a shimmer, the scent is juniper and Fraser fir, and the whole thing smells like a drunk forest in the best possible way.
Hand-poured in our classic sardine-style tin and made with fragrance oils and a soy and soy pillar blend wax.
